Reunion Information
The Second Platoon is proud to announce that the 2023 Cav reunion will be held in Detroit, Michigan. This is the first reunion to be in the Midwest. The reunion will be at the Hollywood Hotel and Greek Town Casino. This may be the nicest venue we ever had for a reunion. The hotel and casino are extremely veteran friendly and there are dozens of quality restaurants within crawling distance from the front door. The hotel gives free valet parking for those driving and is a relatively short cab ride (30 minutes) from Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW).
The Hotel rooms will be available from Wednesday, September 27th thru Sunday, October 1st. The banquet will be Saturday, September 30th. To make hotel reservations either go online to HollywoodGreektown.com or call 1-313-223-2999. Please use the group code ( Troop23). Please make your reservations prior to September 6th. The Lady’s Luncheon will be on Friday, September 29th, at no cost for the Ladies.
There are several interesting things to do in Detroit. The most notable attractions are the:

- Detroit River Cruise
- Detroit Institute of Arts
- Ford Field
- Ford assembly plant tour
- Comerica Park

1-877-424-5554 and referencing the A Troop 4/12 Cavalry room block or by group code:TROOP23. September 6th this is the cut off day for reservations for our room block and any calls after that date go back to Market Rate.
